All the web guide systems work more or less on the same operating principle. The sensor detect the position of the material edge or line thet needs guiding. This information is sent to the microprocessor control panel, that is analysed and then tranformed in to an adjustment signal for the mechanical device that takes the web to the desired, previously set position. As th adjustment signal is proportioned to the error detected, a very high level of precision can b guaranteed under any codition and for any kind of material.
